The bride's wedding garments included a gold-trimmed green silk covering piece over a long red silk blouse and green silk pyjamas. A family member said she wore at least $15,000 worth of gold jewelry with the outfit, including a special nose-piece called a nathni, which the bride must wear until the wedding night when it is removed by the groom.
