Some of the photographs in this series are of the Henry Mar photography studio being built, but this does not appear to be that building as the side walls of the other buildings in this photograph do not match the side walls of the other buildings next to the studio
Description:
Henry Mar was born in south China on March 9, 1903 and came to Alberta in 1935. Began Henry Mar Studio ca. 1940. Wife - Fay, daughter - Mrs. L. Peng of Red Deer, son - Hugh of Vancouver. Mar died of a heart attack at Rocky Mountain House July 20, 1958. (source: Red Deer Advocate July 23, 1958)
