Description: Caption: Setting geese free - Innisfail MLA Nigel Pengelly (left) releases geese at the official opening of Slack's Slough three km south of the city Friday while fish and wildlife officer Jim Allen (right) looks on. Slack's Slough, a nesting and staging area for many species of waterfowl, has been declared a natural area by the province, and features a viewing platform for the public.
