Fonds consists of the administrative and operational records created, accumulated, and used by the Rotary Club of Red Deer while providing community service to the Central Alberta area.Rotary activities were guided by four main committees: Club, Vocation, Community, and International; and these governing themes are apparant in the records themselves. The types of records include the constitution and by-laws, minutes, correspondence, financial statements, membership rosters (1923-1974), committee minutes and reports, newsletters, Black Tie Bingo fundraiser records, fundraiser financial records, Rotary history books, and accounting ledgers.Series imposed in previous processing applied to accession 2012-087 has been maintained. Series include (A) Printed Materials Relating to Rotary International, (B) Photos, (C) Books of Minutes of the Club, (D) Correspondence, (E) Financial Statements, (F) Miscellaneous Records, (F) Attendance Books, (H) Community Books, (I) The Flash - weekly newsletter, and (J) Rotary Dinners.
